With Burns Night approaching once more, have you ever wondered where you might see original manuscripts written by the bard himself? The National Library of Scotland now has a very good online resource which provides visitors with a listing of manuscripts and rare books connected with the Scots language poet. At Robert Burns manuscripts online, visitors can check which original papers are kept in the NLS archive, read a description and analysis, and even arrange to visit and consult the papers, subject to condition.
