Scots and Gaelic plans
Recent language legislation has encouraged debate about the place of, and relationship between, the Scots and Gaelic languages. In particular, many public bodies are now required to draw up plans for promoting Gaelic, and the Scots Language Centre has been asked on a number of occasions to give its view on this process, from a Scots point of view. You will find the SLC response in the PDF files below, in either English or Scots versions.
