‘DiscoverKelpies’, part of Edinburgh-based ‘Floris Books’, publish books for children. All of their books feature Scottish themes and/or Scottish settings and characters.  

They have a number of Scots language books, including:

• Mike Nicholson’s books, Thistle Street, Thistle Sands and Thistle Games, which are picture books for children.

• Susan Rennie’s Scots translations of the much-loved children’s books We’re Gangin on a Bear Hunt and The Teeger That Cam For His tea.

• Robert Burns’ My Luve’s like a Red, Red Rose, which is reproduced in a book with illustrations by Ruchi Mhasane.
