The Ootlaw is a Scandinavian play translated into Scots by David Purves from an original by Johan Strindberg. It will be performed at Duddingston Church as part of the Edinburgh Festival during 10-14 and 17-21 August. The theme of the play is centred around the conflict between Christianity and Paganism in Iceland during the Medieval period.
