Concert in Scots at Dunfermline

‘Sangs of the Scottis Reformatioun’ will continue with its fourth concert of 16th century song in the Scots language, sung by Sang Scule, conducted by James Hutchinson, and with readings in Scots by Dr Jamie Reid-Baxter. The third concert will take place in Dunfermline Abbey, Fife, beginning at 7.30pm. This will feature all the surviving work of the 16th century composer John Angus, with readings from the writings in Scots of David Fergusson (died 1598), one time minister of Dunfermline, and from the poetry of Elizabeth Melville Lady Culross.
