BIlly Kay's 'Societies with Secrets' will be broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland, at 13.32pm. Kay explores the history and living traditions of Scottish clubs, societies, incorporations, fraternal organisations and convivial and political clubs. During the series listeners will hear examples, quotes and song drawn from the Scots language, including discussion in Scots with Ayr Shed No 2 of the Corporation o Squaremen in Ayrshire.
