Elizabeth Melville Day will be held in Edinburgh and comprises four events beginning at 11.30am with a flagstone unveiling at Makars Court, near Lady Stairs Close, followed between 12 noon and 1.30pm by a reception at Riddles Court (tickets 12), then a symposium (tickets 8) with Germaine Greer, James Robertson, Meg Bateman and Rev Dr Janet Foggie at the Augustine United Church, 41 George IV Bridge from 2-5pm, and concluding with a choral concert by Sang Scule in St Giles Cathedral, Royal Mile, from 7.30-9.15pm (tickets 10).
