A free church service in Scots, called 'Plane and Douce: Scots Warschip in the Kirk efter 1560', will be held at the Greyfriars church, in Edinburgh.
This will be preceded by a lecture 3-4pm by Professor Jane Dawson on church services after the Reformation. After some refreshments, the church service, based on a service from the 1620's, will be led by Dr Jamie Reid-Baxter and Martin Ritchie, beginning at 4.15pm.
