As pairt o Glesca's Aye Write fest the will be a day gien ower tae the Scots leid, cryed 'Writing in Scots: A series of three linked workshops', sponsored bi the Langage Comatee o the Associe for Lair in the Leetraturs o Scotland (Association of Scottish Literary Studies). This will stert at 11am an feenish at 3pm. James McGonigal, heid o Langage an Leetratur in the faculty o Education in the Versity o Glesca, will be lookin at the uiss o Scots, an Scots texts, bi the bairns o faimlies new tae Scotland an the bairns o fowk seekin beild. Rab Wilson will be speakin anent modren ideas that can awready be fund amang the wark o Burns, follaed bi Chris Robinson, Director o the Scots Leid Dictionars, that will be speakin anent dictionar resources for writin in Scots. Tickets costs 7 or 3 for the less-sillert. Aw three sessions will be held in the Burns' Chaumer in the Micthell Leebrary in Glesca.
