2021 Doric Film Festival
26th August 2021
This month the successful entries in the Doric Film Festival were announced. The competition calls for budding film makers in North East Scotland to submit 5 minute films in the Doric or North East Scots dialect. With Covid present, and lockdown restrictions in place for much of the time, filming was challenging, but the resourceful film makers managed to produce a variety of material while adhering to social distancing. A total of 27 applications were received and 12 films made the final. They represent all ages and all parts of the North East.
