New Scots book for children
9th December 2010
A new Scots language picture book for the very young has just been published. 'Millie' is a story about a Dalmatian dog who loves to steal sandwiches from locations across the North-East of Scotland. Written by Sheena Blackhall and illustrated by Bob Dewar, the book has been published by The Reading Bus project. Colourful pictures and a humorous story make this an excellent addition to any family collection. Retailing at £5.99, all proceeds go towards further literacy projects in the North-East. It is available from the Reading Bus website.
