Dr Joanna Kopaczyk has recently reminded all those with an interest that the deadline for the Fellowship in the Future of Scots is 26 April 2019. This post is a full-time, fully-funded fellowship based in the University of Glasgow. The successful candidate will address the linguistic status, acquisition and corpus planning for Scots, including issues affecting the Scots-speaking community. The fellow will also carry out research in the area of language policy and engage with stakeholders and policy makers.
