The Scots Language Centre recently had the opportunity to meet Dr Alasdair Allan, Minister for Learning and Skills. Discussions covered Dr Allan's own background as a Scots speaker and the recent development of Scottish Studies. This new area of the curriculum should help formalise Scots language studies in schools. Video of this interview will be available on the Scots Language Centre website in November.
