Scots Language Co-ordinators wanted
9th October 2013
Education Scotland is Scotlands national improvement agency for education. Our role is to promote innovation and change in the education system, from the early years to adult learning and we are committed to embedding our values of excellence, creativity, integrity and respect in everything we do.
To help them drive their ambitious agenda for improving outcomes for Scottish learners, we are now seeking to fill several Scots Language Co-ordinator vacancies.
Scots Language Co-ordinators will work with the Scottish Government and other key organisations to establish a vision for the national development of the Scots language within Scottish education. Working with education authorities and schools, Co-ordinators will provide support in developing learning, teaching and assessment that provides progressive and coherent learning of the Scots language across the four contexts of 3-18 learning.
