Welcome for new Scots language web site
1st November 2006
People from across Scotland have given a warm welcome to the Scots Language Centre's new web site. The site, which went live on 1 October, has already received hundreds of visits. Reactions to the site have been overwhelmingly positive. SLC Director, Michael Hance, said, "I'm very pleased with the reaction we've received. The site took a long time to get right but I think our hard work has really paid off. Now we must work to develop the site further. I do hope people will keep coming back to the site to see how it develops. Next month we are hoping to have some Christmas treats for visitors. We're working on a special version of the site right now and hope to have something on it to please everyone.". Below are just some of the messages received at the Centre during the past month.
