The Scots Language Centre would like to congratulate Mary Johnston, our own makar ben the hoose, who has recently won the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award for poetry and pamphlets, which is sponsored by the National Library of Scotland. The winning piece was a pamphlet published by Perjink Press called 'The Angel and the Aipple' featuring Mary's work.
