The Scots Language Centre would like to thank the Electoral Commission for responding to our concern that Scots language voters had not been treated equally with other language communities in Scotland. Since we translated the Scottish Referendum guide, which is available on our website, the Electoral Commission has also added a copy to its own website at http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/referendum_scotland.aspx . It is our hope that in the future provision may be made to ensure that Scots language voters - equally with other communities - are always included in the dissemination of public information of this nature.
