Covid-19 Phase 3 Easing
14th July 2020
The Scottish Government recently published its plans for Phase 3 of easing the Covid-19 lockdown in Scotland. This means that the following changes are now taking place:
Since Friday 10 July face covering have been mandatory in shops
On Monday 13 July shopping centres were able to reopen
On Wednesday 14 July hairdressers, bars, restaurants and cinemas will reopen
On Thursday 15 July places of worship will be able to resume services
From Wednesday 22 July personal retail services such as beauticians and nail salons will reopen
As these services reopen we must remember that the risk of infection increases and so the following guidelines must still be followed:
Wear face coverings in enclosed spaces
Avoid crowded places
Clean your hands and surfaces regularly
Maintain two-metre (six feet) social distancing
Self-isolate and book a test if you develop coronavirus symptoms
