Well known broadcaster and writer Billy Kay, author of The Mither Tongue, will be giving a talk called ‘Tae be Yersels’ as The Betty Boyd Memorial Scots Language Lecture. This will take place on Saturday 1 June 2019 from 1.30 to 2.30pm at the Scottish Poetry Library, 5 Crichton’s Close, Canongate, Edinburgh. The event is free but as seating will be limited visitors are advised to check with the Library regarding availability.
