Perth Burns Club is holding its 6th annual Day of Scottish Life and Culture, starting at 1pm, in the Soutar Theatre, AK Bell Library, Perth. This will consist of 40 minute lectures including Kenneth Steven (Dunkeld) on 'The Poetry of Perthshire' and Angus Whitson (Edzell) 'Tales of the Scottish Countryside'. The day finishes at 4.45pm after questions. Tickets cost £6 and this includes tea, coffee and biscuits.
