As part of the Doric Festival, the awards ceremony for the Doric Writing Competition will be held at 7pm in the Gordon Arms Hotel, Huntly. This competition is for the best poems, stories and songs written in the North East dialect of Scots - the Doric. There are cash prizes and the Connon Caup to be won.
