As part of the annual Doric Festival in North East Scotland, there will be a Gallowgate Doric Celebration in memory of Dean John Skinner (1721-1807) poet in Scots and author of 'Tullochgorum'.  The event will be held in St Margaret's Church and Hall, the Gallowgate, Aberdeen, beginning at 7pm. There will be music, song and poetry, including perfomances by Sheena Blackhall, and refreshments are included in the price of admission which is £7.
