Perth Burns Club is holding its 'A Day of Scottish Life and Culture' in celebration of St Andrew's Day. The afternoon session, which runs from 1pm to 5pm, will be held in The Soutar Theatre, AK Bell Library, York Place, Perth, and features a talk by Andrew Clegg on 'Tam O Shanter'. Tickets cost £6 and include tea and coffee. In the evening there will be a traditional Scottish concert, starting at 7pm, in the same venue. This features Jim Malcolm and The Silver Darlings.
