Scottish Language Dictionaries are developing a new Scots School Dictionary app, and are looking for volunteers aged 8-18 to provide audio recordings.  The recordings will help people learn how to pronounce the Scots words.

To volunteer for the feature, children and young people should record themselves saying the words from one of the lists (see the pdf below). Then send the audio recording to Scottish Language Dictionaries, ensuring that the words and your local authority (council) are identified in the file name.
