Grow Radio launched
14th May 2020
During this period of lockdown many of us fortunate enough to have gardens are now spending much more of our time in them. We have also become much more aware of the cleaner air and the wonderful bird song. So it is timely that the team behind Scots Radio have recently launched a new gardening programme, called Grow Radio, in which participants can discuss green fingered matters in Scots.
The show is presented by broadcaster Frieda Morrison along with David Mitchell, former curator at the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, and with Richie Werner. Beginning with Frieda out in the garden, talking about the flowers and plants, the programme develops into a question and answer format. Questions are received both via e-mail and by way of recorded messages sent in by the public.
If you have any gardening queries or tips feel free to send a text or recorded message to info@growradio.com . The initial intention is that Grow Radio will broadcast monthly but this may change in the near future. To listen to the first half hour episode please follow the link to https://www.scotsradio.com/grow-radio-launch/ and take in the atmosphere.
