Shrieking Privilege
21st March 2016
During the course of the last few weeks comments made in sections of the press in relation to the Scots language community have produced a number of responses online and elsewhere. More recently Scots Language Centre Director Michael Hance, in the course of being asked for his own views, produced the following article by way of response, in which he makes a number of important observations about language generally and Scots specifically. The article, which originally appeared in Bella Caledonia, is called 'Shrieking Privilege' and is available to download below as a PDF file.
