Broadcasting in Scots

As part of the new Season of Workshop and Development Days at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh, TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland) are presenting a host of events featuring and promoting our Living Culture and Traditions.
On Saturday 14th of February, there will be a unique Development Day focusing on Broadcasting in Scots. People speak naturally in Scots, but think that the media requires Standard English. Experienced broadcaster and producer, Frieda Morrison, leads a practical yet inspiring day on linguistic confidence and basic broadcasting skills.
Get media savvy and relaxed all at once as Scots broadcasting and spikkin reclaims it place in the brimming cup of Scotlands cultural diversity.
